For the last eleven years we have been designing and creating our own Resendiz Brothers calendar, which we have proudly shared with all our friends, family and customers. The time spent creating these calendars has also become very special to us as it gives us the opportunity to reflect on the past year, to rummage through twelve months of photographs and select our thirteen favorite pictures. Our 2013 cover picture is of Serruria 'Sugar 'n' Spice', a delicate and petite flower, which we hope to see a lot more of in the years to come. The remaining twelve pictures are intentionally selected to represent the month in which they are displayed and hopefully, with Mother Nature's cooperation, these flowers and foliage with be in bloom and ready for harvesting during that time. So, today we wanted to share our 2013 calendar photographs - a special combination of arrangements, bouquets, field shots, truck loads of flowers and a holiday wreath - Enjoy & Happy New Year!

Celebrating with Flowers
Holiday tables seem positively naked if they are not decorated in some way. This is, after all, the time when we bring out our best china, finest crystal and holiday candles. The most important part of any table design is the centerpiece, which should be the 'main attraction'- so go all out, make it special and celebrate with flowers! Here are just a few of the gorgeous centerpieces we've come across this year featuring many of our favorite flowers from the Protea family. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!!!

Christmas which is hope;
The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is
love." - Ada V. Hendricks

Serruria - Our 2013 Calendar Cover
This delicate and delightful bloom - Serruria, will grace the cover of our 2013 Resendiz Brothers Calender. Serruria has always been one of our farvorite proteaceae, and this year we're hoping to see our first harvest. There are over 44 species of Serruria with the popular" Blushing Bride" and" Pink n' Pink " being the most frequently requested varieties. Over the last few months we've discovered this gorgeous bloom being mixed in hand-tied bouquets and even a dainty hairpiece. Here are just a few of the wonderful pictures we've found:
